Really! Tina fell in the kitchen yesterday morning, but she is soar and ok..... Really!

small bit up, but acceptable. It was a strange Thanksgiving, but we survived it.  - small portions & Ingress.

Ya Tina fell yesterday and bruised her hip and having trouble standing. Everything look ok and she was able to stand and move after the fall, but not the stiffness and pain has set in.

Really! Overall a classic morning in Lynden in November, ahhh the rain.... no really!

So I was asked recently how I have been keeping my sugars down.

Well, I change up my entire routine and adopted a mantra
                           "small portion"

I later added the ingress, which is a Google game that promote walking. Another prong of the fork is an App/website called MyFitnessPal, this allows be to track my food intake. It also links to a few other exercise tracking apps. Now for the last prong, I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and a Gear Fit smartwatch. the watch tracks my steps, it can track my exercising such as walking, running, biking, etc... I like how I can use it as a stop watch, a timer, control my music on the phone, get notifications on my watch from my phone.

Lastly I use an additional app on my phone that will lock the phone, should the watch and phone get separated. So it makes for great security.

really! baseline numbers this morning A1C down from 8.3 to 7.5, shooting for 7.0! No Really!

Morning 135 mg/dl, 258 lbs, 123/67 bp, 64 pulse and 97.3 temp.
These are all bases line numbers that look nice. My labs came in and look good except Trig it still needs a little improvement. however on the bright side, my A1C was 7.5 down from 8.3. Standard is 7.0 and below is good control so that is what I'm shooting for.  ---small portions

Really, hard to loss weight!

Sugars could be better, but within the upper range. the rest are all good. Not seeing any movement in weight however some of my drugs do report issues with losing weight. I'm on a 1600 calories diet and have been under that daily number for over a month. O'well doctors checkup in just over a week. With blood draw on Monday or Tuesday
